Denise, Brendan and Devin:  Over the last 11 years, our lives have been enriched and so blessed to have been a part of your family.  When we think of Tim, we think of smiles, laughter, goofiness, strength beyond measure, and the capacity to rise above his earthly trials and sufferings and to focus on his Heavenly home.   Some of our fondest memories were the restaurant game (of course), Saturday night church, New Year's Eves, hanging out in our back yards, playing Scrabble (much to Denise's chagrin), going to St. Louis to the Cardinals games, Bradley games, the Heart Balls, the list goes on and on.  Each and every time that we have spent with your family has been just plain fun and sheer joy.  Even the past 3 years, when Tim was fighting the battle for his life, amidst many tears and uncertainty, the soaking prayers, the surgeries, etc., Tim wanted to enjoy each and every day and not focus on his situation.  This was Tim...this is what we will always remember about our dear friend.   Denise, Brendan and Devin....we are here for you always and continue to pray daily for you.  We love you all very much.

Denise and Guys,

What a fantastic slideshow - memories you will cherish forever.  I well recall what great love and concern Tim had for you that day he called me - in the Mossville office - and asked me to try to encourage you as you were going through some difficult work times (like the Chrysler account??!!).  Tim was a great man and the angels are rejoicing in heaven to see him there.  Cling to the promise of St. Paul in First Thessalonians 4:13,14 "I do not want you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who are asleep in Jesus".  Thank God for that promise..  Denise, We love you in Christ.

Soccer is what introduced our family to Tim, Denise, Brendan and Devin. We really can not think about Morton soccer and not think of Tim. He loved the game and loved watching and cheering on not only his sons but the entire team. Michael says he always remembers Mr. Frietag yelling positive things to everyone on the team during the games and was always great at encourageing everyone. Michael also remembers riding home from Quincy with Mr. Freitag and a bunch of sophmore guys and he had one of them drive so he could eat his salad! They all thought that was pretty funny! He always had a smile and was so fun to be around. We too were introduced to the Althoff Motel in Quincy by Tim. He really should haved earned a commission  from the Althoff, he could convince anyone that they should stay there.....and he was right. It was clean, cheap and provided a lot of laughs! We feel so blessed to have known Tim and the last hug I received from him a few weeks ago will remain with me forever. Thoughts of him will always put a smile on our faces. Denise, Brendan and Devin, you are in our prayers.

Denise, Brendan, and Devin:

I have alot of great memories of Tim-most of them having to do with soccer.  Boy did he like to watch you boys play!  He was so proud of both of you.  The best times were when you played in Quincy.  He was so crazy about The Althoff Motel.  Of course when I first heard him describe it I thought he was exaggerating.  He wasn't.  We had so many laughs about that place!

Another memory of Tim I have is of him talking about his love of hunting.  He was the first "hunter" that I knew.  One time on the way to Quincy(he was giving me a ride) we stopped by his aunt and uncle's farm to visit.  It was great to meeting his family and to get a visual of his favorite hunting spot.

We will always remember Tim with a smile on his face.  God Bless Tim and all of you.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Tim and I went to grade school and high school together as neighbors and friends.  Tim and his brother Todd were always great friends to me and my brother Tim.  I have many fond memories of playing with the Freitag brothers.  I shed some tears today as I read about Tim.  One memory I will never forget is helping Tim paint his face like a "KISS" band member, for a dance at Limestone High School.  We used paints not intended for face painting and Tim had this horrible stinging paint all over his face.  We also had many fun times playing and hunting in the woods and creeks around the neighborhood, where Tim showed me how to hunt squirrels. My condolences for your family's great loss.  The Freitag boys will always be in my memories for the rest of my life.
