When we think of Tim, soccer memories come alive! Our family is blessed to have been introduced to Tim, Denise and the boys through traveling and indoor soccer with Brendan. This lifelong friendship has been formed, all because of a black and white ball and the love for competition and fun, brings smiles to our faces and laughter to our life. No matter what state or city we were in, what restaurant we were waiting in line for to seat an unexpected party of 27, or soccer field we were on Tim was always there with a smile on his face. Cheering Brendan and the boys on ~ encouraging and caring. Tim touched many lives in a most positive way. The dash between May 25, 1960 and Sunday, June 28th represents the love Tim had for his family and friends and how he made a difference to those fortunate enough to have known him. Our lives our richer because of Tim. Remember, Heaven is within speaking distance. In Peace and Light we lift Denise, Brendan and Devin up in prayer.
Dear Denise and family, I met your wonderful Tim when I worked in the OSF office where Tim often had meetings several years ago. He would breeze in with this wonderful, friendly energy, and with a smile, of course. Over time, I got to know him a little better, and he was always kind and generous with his time and in sharing his expertise.
It was a joy to see him always, and perhaps it is important for you to know that so many people at OSF prayed for his healing when he became ill. He was very brave and we never heard him complain. Now, our prayers surround you and your family with love, as you find your way in a world without your loving spouse and father. Thank you for sharing all the pictures - it gave all of us who loved his soul and his heart a chance to see his well-lived life with his beloved family and friends.

Our memories of Tim are centered in Soccer, and the pure enjoyment he expressed when traveling to watch the boys play. Whether it was setting out in the summer sun, traveling to far away places, freezing in the cold, or being drenched in the rain, I don’t think he would have traded those experiences for anything. He certainly made our trips more enjoyable. His quick wit and smile were always something to look forward to seeing. Who could forget those memorable trips to Quincy for the high school tournaments and the Althoff Motel. Tim found this motel one trip and was so thrilled with the fact that he could stay for two nights for the same price that the rest of us were paying for one. Soon thereafter, we were all traveling to the Althoff Motel and having all the more fun doing it with Tim. It was an honor for all of our family to know Tim and he enriched all of our lives. Our thoughts are with you Denise, Brendan and Devin and know that you are in our prayers all the time.
Denise and Boys - The pictures are great! If we had to summarize what we see in those pictures in one word it would be... LOVE! There is NO DOUBT about the love that you had for your husband and father... and NO DOUBT about the love that he had for you! What an example for others... and what a legacy to leave for all of us. While Tim's life was WAY to short... his Love and the Legacy that he has left in what you and the boys have become will live on FOREVER! We share in your sorrow. We are glad to have known Tim. We are proud to call him friend! We are anxious to re-unite with him someday in Heaven!
